They do, but they've got a Supertracker, not a Hunter or better.

...so they'll do a decent job, but the report isn't as clear and I'm not convinced it's as precise...

Getting proper alignment done seems to be getting more difficult - you've got top-end providers like Centre Gravity (and potentially String Theory, but never used them), and then you've got bottom-end stuff, but I'm struggling to find anyone 'good but not extortionate' anymore...
They seem to be on the better end of tyre fitters and I expect them to do a better job than the big chains - after all, the Hunter machine is only as good as the monkey using it!

I do agree about finding the good alignment places though. It does seem like you need to go to the high end providers these days. I’ve used both Centre Gravity and String Theory; the former is easy for me because they’re 10 minutes away but the waiting list is a pain. The latter are good though and have better availability.

I’ve heard good things about Spires in Leamington, but again it’s another high end place.

Agreed on Stratford Tyres - know Adam through mutual friends and they're close, so they get all of our business.

...and agreed on Centre Gravity - used him many years ago while he was still starting out and was amazed at Chris' knowledge and attention to detail. Worth every penny at the time, although I've no doubt he's put his prices up. Might have to give ST or Spires a go and reach deeper into my pockets.

They’re my go to for tyre fitting now and can acrylic balance a wheel unlike the last clowns I used. Prices are competitive too.

CG’s attention to detail is impressive; they did a great job on my M140i especially compared to what how a supposed motorsport places and BMW set it up. Pricing is punchy but I do understand why and given their waiting list it’s more than acceptable.

ST are good; Ben knows his onions and set my 130i up really nicely. They take a pragmatic approach too re wear and tear. Bit cheaper than CG and easier to get booked in with.

Yeah, I don't begrudge him his success one bit...he started from scratch...yes he bought top-rate kit in and set his stall out from the start, but had to work to earn his reputation.

Nice guy too...none of the attitude or ego that's so prevalent in the automotive world.

I agree; both he and Pete are really good guys. I’m not surprised people travel from afar for their services- a friend of mine travelled from Knaresborough.

What I liked (same with ST) is that they listen to you and talk to you first to try and get your car driving as you want it rather than just thinking they know best.
