Copied from my post on the Audi section -

There was an attempt car jacking of an S3 in the Allesley area of Coventry (quite a nice area North of the city) on 5.30pm Saturday evening. Female driver was beaten with a baseball bat.

I know the DC dealing with this - apparently Audis are once again the car of choice for the scum (although thats not to say other performance cars aren't tickling their fancy too).

Stay safe folks.

That's shocking.

Audi is the car of choice to be stealing these days. The Golf R seems particularly popular too.

Really is right nasty people out there.

Persons arrested for this now.

Golf R's and Audis are the cars of choice - there have been several Golfs taken in the Coventry area over the last few weeks - all similar tactics.

Awful news. Well done to the police for making an arrest. Hopefully with it being a violent crime they'll get a proper sentence.

Good news they've been caught and hopefully the poor lady is recovering. Makes me nervous with the GTI on the drive. Not how it should be at all.

I said that to the other half the other day - I am beginning to hate walking back to my car and having to scout round for potential scum before getting in to it.... As much as I love the RS4, I'm not sure how much longer my nerves will last!
