There is Paul, but I don't know how active it is.
You still got the DBS or do you now have something German?

I'm in the same predicament - I now have a new Merc and don't know whether to join the Mercedes-Benz club.

Nice one Paul. If you find anything, let me know - could do with taking the SLS out for some fresh air.

Hello mate. It's been a while! We met at TVRCC meeting in Notts years ago. You had lovely red Chim. I had green one (profile pic).

Thought I'd reply as I'm driving a Mercedes too - albeit a W124.

Hope you're well. You introduced me to PH. The wife hasn't forgiven you.

Enjoy the Merc.

I think you'd come under 'Midlands East' Paul, but that's only a guess as not sure how MBC allocate members to regions! smile

Our 'local' meeting is indeed at The Packe Arms, Hoton (Loughborough) although it isn't quite monthly as meetings (roughly) alternate with The Stag's Head in Maidwell, between Northampton and Market Harborough. Local meetings only really returned this year apparently in an attempt to better cover those of us in the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire area.

The next one is the last Wednesday of October (28th?) from 6.30pm. I went to the previous meeting in June (my first, despite being a member for years!) and it was pretty well attended.

Ian Wardleworth is the Regional Officer - Nice guy who can be contacted via ian.wardleworth@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk if you want any more info.

I've just bitten the bullet and joined too. I can only find an East Midlands forum on the website. How did you find out about the other Midlands based regions? Do they have their own forum?

Nice bunch, quite a mix of people (and cars).

Bit difficult for me to compare as it was the first Car Club meeting I've been to in 5 years where I haven't been the person running the meeting! wink Made a lovely change for me - very relaxing and nice to just chat to other owners!

With it being the last Wednesday of October, I assume the Club meet will at The Packe Arms tomorrow night.

Ian Wardleworth, the Regional Officer for the Club, should be able to confirm (email address above)
