Anyone know a friendly engineering company (ideally near Redditch) that could open out the centre hole in a pair of brake discs for me?

I don't know what they will charge, but they are an old fashioned, bespoke machine shop in the best sense of the word.

thankyou, I'll try 55 palfers suggestion first as they are literally "round the corner" from me but if they're not interested or silly expensive will be in touch smile

I think I will also need four new bolt holes drilling on a different PCD ( old car, disc bolted to hub not "modern" held on by wheel set up) is that something you could do?

Not so far as Leicester, I know thy do work on in situ parts on car-they regularly do VAG calliper bolt threads, like on mine, in the yard at side. I didn't get a good look around workshop, but they must have a fair bit of kit as they recon engines . Fairly friendly lot- might be worth a call to ask if /when and how much if all else fails .
