Indie garage recommendation - Solihull way

Looking for a recommendation for either a good Indie Japanese garage (pref Toyota) or even a great standard Indie, Solihull plus 5 miles around preferred.

I've lived in Solihull for years and I don't think any exist. I travel out of the area for work on my Honda.

There are lots of independent garages, but no specialists.

Would be interested to hear if you find out otherwise or anyone can recommend somewhere local

Perhaps slightly out of your way but I use Arden Bridge Garage on the A435 north of Redditch. They are Independent but specialise in Subaru. Albeit that they work on other marques.

Would also be very interested to hear of any recommendations in the area, preferably Toyota/Lexus specialists.

I've not been able to find anyone either, so currently sticking with main dealers - obviously not ideal.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Not a Jap specialist but West Midlands SAAB in Erdington do SAAB, BMW, MINI, but also other stuff. Serviced my wife's Qashqai. They are very good.

JAPS on the Torrington Avenue in Coventry looked after my MX-5 for years, and specialise in Japanese cars.

Thanks for the recocomendations chaps, coincidentally the Redditch Subaru is the garage my old man used to take his Subaru to and was one he suggested!
Ended up taking it to a independent Mini specialist (Cols mini center) over in Feckenham because Nick there does my old mans BL Mini estate and he's a great chap, knows what he's doing and does not take the piss.

So unfortunately it seems we are out of luck for Toyota/Lexus specialists in this area, thanks anyway.

Sorry didn't see this one, Cov is only a short Journey for me so maybe I will give them a try next time, cheers
