Decent VAG indy: Coventry/Solihull?

Any decent recommendations for a VAG indy around Coventry/Solihull sort of way?

Only really (for now) for some basic servicing on a 2007 Golf GTi, but after 100k miles there's gonna be a few things need doing so I want an honest/trustworthy indy, who knows what they are doing, is good value, etc.

Have used APS in Brackley and Midlands VW in Cannock before, and both very good, but really want somewhere a bit closer that can look after the car, and don't want to take it to main dealers (completely useless IMO) or a generic servicing centre that doesn't really know VAG cars.

There is a great place called P&G Automotive in Brandsford but that is prob 30mins further from you

I used a place in Shirley on Stratford road, behind the old VW main dealer. Sorry can't remember what they are called. However, they have been around for years and did a competent job on my car.

Bit further than Brackley, but UNIT 18 outide MK( OLD WOLVERTON ). Might seem far, but from Coventry, it's only a few miles more than Brackley .Add to that price wise they're very reasonable /VAG trained and get top reviews on Briskoda.

Friend of mine owns Vastec in Warwick. Wouldn't take our car anywhere else. Great bunch of guys working for him and always top service.

That sounds spot on. Thanks. Are they a new outfit, as I've not heard of them before (and surprised I haven't)?

Just having had a fault code appear today on mine as well, I may need 2 cars looking at, and I also see they do wheel alignment which may be useful.

Another positive vote for Vastec. We have my wife's Touran serviced there.
