Discussion
Just a quick reminder to everyone that the Griffins Head Classic Car meet has restarted and is taking place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 5pm onwards plus the last Sunday from 11am onwards with plenty of food and drink available.
They have also added an extra Wednesday on those months that have 5 weeks, though this is in addition to the 1st and 3rd meets, check below for the dates.

There is also a Facebook page which provides further info and photographs: https://www.facebook.com/GriffinsHeadShow though is only useful if you are on Facebook!
Below is a list of the Griffins Head Classic & Sports car dates for 2016
I will try and upload a few more pics in the next day or two from last night because it was very popular indeed.
The next meet is planned for this coming Sunday 24th April from 11am onwards, plenty of food and drink will be available.

I have to say that last night (Wednesday) was indeed a fantastic evening to be stuck in traffic. Next time perhaps call in to the Griffins Head pub because it's free to attend with a fantastic selection of old and new classic and sports cars to drool over.
Nearly every type of classic and sports car has attended over the past thirteen years since its inception, including Aston, BMW, Caterham, Ford, Ferrari, Lancia, Lamborghini, Landrover, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Mini, Jaguar, Porsche, Triumph, TVR, to name but a few marques.
Here are a few photos I took last night
It's a brillant evening so well worth attending. So make a note, 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights from 5pm, plus the last Sunday in the month from 11am onwards, and the occasional 3rd Wednesday in the month. Check the Facebook page for forthcoming meets

All well and good unless folks don't use Facebook! Also, I've noticed that the dates shown in the calendar (which I uploaded from the official Facebook page onto here) seem to be wrong, I was under the impression that this years meet had reverted back to the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, yet viewing the dates shown in the diary these dates are different!
Please clarify which dates are correct. Is the meet still the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from approx 5pm onwards, and is the last Sunday each month still a meet from 11am onwards?
To anyone considering driving over to attend the Griffins Head pub classic car and bike show in Papplewick here are a few photos I took last Wednesday 20 July 2016 which is the 3rd Wed of the month.
It's a brilliant event, with a wide variety of cars, bikes and scooters to view. Best bit it is free to attend whether you are an owner or an enthusiast.
