So, I've been asked to organise a team go karting event in the Midlands area and thought you guys might be able to suggest some good locations.

The criteria are:

Preferably outside even though it will be October / November time
Must be a fast circuit with plenty of overtaking opportunities
We'd like it to take half a day to completes so some form of Grand Prix type event
Must be a fast circuit with plenty of overtaking opportunities
There will be about 10 of us
Oh and it must be a fast circuit with plenty of overtaking opportunities!

Any suggests would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I would suggest PFI (near Newark) or Daytona Tamworth. Both of these circuits will meet all of your criteria.

This was good fun the two times I've been. Didn't ever manage to go down with my own kart though.

Elk - just of the A46/A1 at Newark
Stretton - 5 minutes from the A6 near Oadby, south Leicester.

I've been to both the PFI circuit near Grantham and grand prix karting track at Birmingham, both great.

PFI though is an international circuit so long and fast. Birmingham's circuit is quite quick still and has plenty of friendly marshals, but has the added benefit that next door is a drift track so you can go take a look at that after you've finished.

ETA: https://www.daytona.co.uk/venues/milton-keynes/ the Milton-Keynes track is also reportedly very good and an easy trip from Leicester, its also where a few of the British F1 drivers learned their trade such as Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton.
