Download the ‘Your parking space’ app and search for Aston Place. It’s at the bottom of the ramp which goes up to the Crowne Plaza on Holliday street. It’s secure and you can get spaces where nobody can park next to you, reducing your chances of being doored. You won’t get caught in the queues when you come out of the arena either.

Thanks.
Is this the correct place?

Yes, that’s the one. It’s not particularly well marked and it doesn’t look like a public car park. It’s a hidden gem!

It’ll be fine in there. As I’m sure most people on here are, I’m fussy about where I park and I put my M140 in there regularly and never had a problem.

I’ve also booked a space for the cricket and will be going in my Giulia QV - are the spaces a decent size?

It’s quite a strange layout inside - the supporting columns are irregularly placed, meaning there are some spaces where you can park way over the line to one side leaving a massive gap to the next car, and some where no other cars can park next to you. There’s a lower level which is exactly the same layout, but the ramp down isn’t easy to find. I’ve seen a lambo huracan in there, albeit parked over two spaces so I’m sure you’ll be fine!

Used it tonight - easy to get to and plenty of space.
Bit concerned that upon getting back to the car the shutter was up - not sure if it had been up all night.
Anyway, will be using again for the cricket next week.

Bit of an eye opener - stuck in traffic at roadworks in the city centre only to see the black Audi A3 next to us openly dealing drugs through the window to two scuzzy pedestrians at 5:30pm…

Glad it worked out. Send an email saying you’re disappointed the shutter seemed to be permanently open. You might get a discount code for next time.
