Would love to mate, but unfortunately I'm otherwise engaged. Will be up for the next VW meet, and also the meet on the 12th Feb at that business park!

Cheers

Near Staines but by all accounts it's THE inpromptu car gathering. Look at the PH Calendar or Virginia Waters thread in General Gassing.

Keep them coming! There's plenty of good roads in the area. We'll have to watch the though as there's a depot just south of Leamington with some very fast unmarked machinery...

What do you reckon Dawn Run, Sunday Afternoon Jaunt or wrap up warm for an evening meet?

burblev8

there's nothing fast in that depot anymore mate. gone are the days of their stealth un-marked black Sapphire Cosworth

wouldn't worry about them being able to keep up, although there is a presence of crap primeras etc and they love their camera van now

Leamington is a good place for a drink, although i'm biased, living here an all..

It depends which route you want to take, I live near Southam on the A423 halfway between Banbury & Coventry and would probably take some good B roads via Warwick/Hockley Heath/Earlswood/Wythall

Why not nip along to the car meet held at the Brittanic Assurance "campus" at Wythall ( just off junction 3 of the M42 A435)in the second week of every month...October to April on Sunday 11.00am to 1.00pm, and May to September on Tuesdays from 7.00 pm.

The December meet is therefore this Sunday........everything from steam cars to new Astons plus motorbikes......

Cheers,

Tony

Hmm, might trot along to this. Is the 'campus' easy to find? I'll be in a black Mk1 MX5 if anyone else is there.

This is about as much as I know. Feb meets usually bring out a good few cars as folk are bored of the grey days. This is especially true if Virginia water was anything to go by last week.

Email me your mobile no through my profile and we will try and hook up on the way. My plan is to set off around 10am and weave over via a few B roads and see what's there.
