Warwickshire PH'ers
Discussion
Hi Matt,
Nice to meet up with you today, even if it was a bit damp and the turnout a bit sparce.
Following Ian's sideways moment on the A435 going to the meet we were being a bit circumspect on the way back home, but I decided to have a bit of a play with the Tiptronic gearbox.......
Sure enough the wheels spun up in the first three gears and I therefore decided to get it out of kamikaze mode and let the gearbox ECU do the thinking for me.
Hopefully see you at the next meet on March 12th.....
Cheers,
Tony

Hi All
I'll be based in Leamington during the week from next week, then heading off home to Yorkshire for the weekends.
I've been quite involved in a lot of PH runs etc. in the Yorkshire area, especially early morning runs over the Moors, Wolds and North Lincolnshire - driving heaven.
Would be good to make a local PH meet, so I will keep my eyes peeled.
I've been on a few of PhilRose's runs in the past when I lived in Sutton Coldfield and will be on the next one on the 9th January (pity there's a clash with the next meet). I origninaly hail from Dosthill, near Tamworth as well, so I'm not a complete foreigner.
Cheers and a happy New Years to all you Midlanders.

Thanks for the heads up Stu.
It would be good to have a link with someone in Yorkshire I love driving the NYM.
Coventry Windmill meets are planned for every 2nd Tues of the month given enough support.
Ideally in 2007 there could be a chain of day/evening/weekend events to choose from in the Central Midlands region if everyone reaches out a bit as they have done in the Nottingham/East Midlands area.
Coventry
Leamington
Warwick
Rugby
Kenilworth
Banbury
Stratford
Daventry
...should provide enough interested bodies.
See you in the new year?
