12 o'clock sounds good to arrive. I can reserve a table for those eating or would you prefer to 'do your own thing' and decide on the day if you want to eat.

Cheers

your route sounds good ralph, the melton road up to and abut 5 miles beyond upper broughton is one of my favourite roads in that area

I would have thought a reservation for about a dozen would be a good idea, either one table or a couple of sixers.

See you a week on Sunday Mark.

A table for 12 is reserved as suggested. I hope the weather is better than last Sunday, a complete washout!!
Let me know if arrangements change but all welcome, Pistonheaders or not just bring the nice cars. And yourselves

I'm a fairly new PH'er trying to kick some life into Warwickshire with a call for a decent road run.

Do you mind if I suggest this meet on my thread?

I can't see why not. More the merrier - that's providing there is plenty of room at the inn

Room at the Inn - exactly I can't imagine a tidal wave of Warwickshire types but as an exile from the restaurant trade - I know everyone has their limits!

Not sure if I can make it anymore - I have a leaky (house) roof to fix, hoping to take advantage of the reasonable weather forecast for the week end.

So we need to be there for say 12 noon ???

So about an hour to get there from Nottingham, need to sort out a meeting place at 10.30am for an 11.00am start then.

How about the access road outside Graypaul Ferrari in Nottingham? or Asda car park at West Bridgford? or Wheatcrofts Roses garden centre at Edwalton?

Wouldn't recommend Wheatcrofts BG
It can get stupidly busy on a Sunday morning and getting out of there can be a real bugger because you trying to do a right turn across the traffic which is coming quickly off the roundabout.

Graypaul access road sounds good though, easy to get out of and back on to the dual cabbageway

Sorry guys and girls, we're not going to be able to make it. Just too much to do on the house still. Have one for us.

Another change to plan... looks like I've temporarily mislaid the old man. I'll be on my tod.

I must be getting old - years ago if I'd got an unexpected weekend pass-out, I would have been off getting up to mischief, but now I just think 'Oooh, yummy lunch and good chats in Rutland'.

Nice to meet you all guys and gals. Must do it again sometime. I'd come to the Tuesday night runs but I'm being getting myself an education on Tuesdays.

Thanks for the invite Mark. Great food, good company and two lovely autumn runs in the Griff, it doesn't really get much better does it.
