Any members / events near Lincoln?

Hi all, next meet is next thursday (23rd March), again at the Royal Oak in Aubourn. Already got a few folk interested inclduing 2 or 3 911s and a few other bits of nice machinery. I'll start another thread to publicise it and we'll see how it goes. Thursday nights are pop quiz night for those that fancy it - £1 entrance gets you chips and sarnies and a chance to be humiliated by your lack of musical knowledge (if you're anything like me), I generally opt for sitting in the corner drinking beer!

7pm may be a bit early for some but hopefully there'll be a few of us there by half-past.

If you need a PH sticker mine arrived within 2 days (cheers Ted) so you might be able to get one by Thursday.

I'll have a think and bring something over to the pub to identify our table/seating area, an old carburettor or something perhaps!!!!!

I'll be there about 8. Being new to these meets I need to ask a question, as I live about 2 minutes away I was planning to walk. Is this considered bad form considering the company?

Well, clearly I'll walk as well as to walk is 25 yards whereas to drive is about 300yards (quirk of living on a one-way street!).

Of course I could stick the 996 in the pub car park when I get back from work if that helps...

By the way, simon has started another thread to confirm the details of this meet...

I can't believe I've missed this thread! so guys is there a meet this week, if so is it still at the Royal Oak? I am located just North of Lincoln and as RToy stated there are a few TVRs around the City.

Here was me thinking you were ignoring us. Evenings best for me but I try to fit in. My missis is away on hols (cow!) at moment so i can do as i like.. Just bloody work keeps interfering with fun. (must do something about that)
