To be honest she looked as though she had gone through a combine harvester when I got home.

10 on the dot if poss

weather is good here too, not a cloud in the sky

LN96JS is the correct postcode btw but either will get you near enough to find it and your driving up with us so no probs there you just need to get to the secret meeting location for 10:00 and you are sorted.

see you in a couple of hours !!

...it was a good day out. It was nice to put some names to faces. Many thanks to Lincgt2 for the ride, it was a real help chatting with you and to get a first hand experience was fantastic. I must admit my heart was pounding afterwards and my palms were sweaty. You sure know that stretch of road very well. It was quite staggering the speed we were carrying along it I just don't think a turbo will satisfy me now. Oh and the fact i can get the golf clubs in the back even with the buckets is a big bonus.

The 930 turbo was nice to see also, lovely condition and stuck to me like glue. Every school boy who grew up in the 80's wanted a red 911 turbo!

The 911sport garage looks like a cracking facility.

awesome run out today and god to see and hear the gt2's and 3's. Great road as wel. I've spent hours thrashing backwards and forwards on my bike on there so road knowledge made up for the lack of power in the civic

Hi Tony, you missed out by not waiting for 10 more mins, the run i planned for the way back was fun

Andy, your PSE 996 sounded cool, i still cant believe thats a porsche exhaust it sounded ace !

I hope Andy (Mach) got back ok, I led him to where he wanted to be and asked him to post here when he gets back, well done sir for coming all that way :hats off:

we need Costa on here, his lambo made my day (close call as the run back home was on the edge and only 4 cars came with us/nearly whitnessed me killing myself)

anyways, I left the missus in charge of taking photos, so i didnt get many .. .. .. .. some are below.

so its rare to see a GT2 at a porsche meet, we had 2

ohh and a manthey tuned 993 RSR

which splattered me with stones all the way to horncastle due to Pauls (RedRSR) super sticky tires . . . . obviously overtaking was out the question, thanks.

we met up at the secret location

then headed off to horncastle.

we got to 911 sport

and then Costa came along and made me want a lambo even more.

then a few of us headed of for some driving nirvana (sorry cant post pics ill get locked up)

then went home, was a good day on all accounts, would love to write more but dinner is ready heres to the next meet

Hi Guys

Really enjoyed the day out. Some very tasty machinery and nice to put some faces to names.

Got home about six after a somewhat frustrating drive back to Cheshire trying to deal with the queues stuck behind meandering caravans . Whatever happened to the art of overtaking???

Just as well the drive out to the woods was such good fun, even if it did get a little sweaty at times, chasing Simon (and failing miserably!) and Gary. . The good news is that "930 corner" has only resulted in mild soiling

Thanks for arranging it Gary and "dropping me off" on the road home..

that "930 corner"

I had my first close call with the tow truck there, had many on the edge moments but nothing like that full loss of control moments so far, damn bikers speeding on the wrong side of the road, on a chicane, when im facing him going down a hill, him heading towards me whilst I was also somehow in the middle of the road aimed straight at him . . . . I think quote of the day was "dont go crashing, Gary" from the missus, at the time of said near miss/4 wheel fishtail when any other sane human would have curled into a ball crying "ohh my god were gonna die!!!!" bless.

I tried to get away from simon, just being cheeky but obviously you just cant get away from a GT2 in a C2 :gutted:

i need to go out on that road again right now

Glad to see you got back OK Mach

It was a cracking run out, to Simon and LincsGT2 thanks guys for keeping me company in my plastic pig, that was one hairy blat especially meeting the vulva estate through that dog leg!!! Thank God there was a bank on the righthand side cos I got two wheels halfway up the feckin thing to get through the corner
It was sensational watching you two put the power down out of the corners whist I sat there winding the rubber band up with me throttle flat to the floor, felt like I was standing still.
I had a superb run back across the wolds to Louth then back on the A157 before cutting across to the A631 and down past Willingham Woods on full chat through the sweeps.
Put me on the list for the next run out!
Cheers all, nice to have met you and thanks Gary/Simon for the organisation and to 911 Sport for being excellent hosts

So that's what the dark side is like eh! pussycats!!!
