Picking my newly refurbed wheels up tomorrow. They will need balancing. Does anyone know anyone really good that can take big wheel and tyre combos and wont automatically start to hammer weights into the outer rim but use internal stick-ons instead? My local tyre bods in Belper cant lock the wheels onto the spindle on the balancer as they dont have the right size chuck adapters.

Wheels are 9x18 with 255/45x18 tyres.

Thanks.

Warren, give Derby Tyres a ring and speak to Clayton (01332 362533). I use them all the time and they're pretty good. Obviously I don't know if they can cater for your exact requirements but they're a cut above the usual tyre monkeys. Just off Mansfield Road in town.
