I shall be there too with a few friends from Notts / Derby area.
Hello Roger. Will you be in the pickup?Yes Mark, I shall be there in the truck. We will probably be in the over-flow car park as I can't see us getting there before 7pm at the earliest.
I really think the Organisers should start sorting out the cars they allow into the main field. It gets a bit of a joke when there is a line of ten runaround cars (from memeory a Skoda Octavia estate, Focus 1.6, Escort van, Mondeo, 2 year old Golf, old Discovery plus others) in the middle of the main field, and Dodge Vipers, Ferraris, and some quite interesting older stuff being sent into the over-flow fields.
We'll be there next month, as we're on holiday so should be able to get in earlier, but that may be it.

Yes, I konw what you mean Colin, I think I saw 2 Ultimas in the 3rd field, several Ferraris, TVRs, Lotus and other very interesting cars. We were there by about 18.10 and the main field was pretty full. I guess it's hard for them to judge, but when the weather is like that it's always busy.

Good point Maggit!
I saw a green Griff in the overspill near me - was that you or were you in the Big Grin(nall)?

I got there just after 5pm (!), and I was the 6th car in the field. At that time, there was only one person on the gate, and no-one in the other field so everyone was put in the cricket pitch field. Hopefully they will open the other field at the same time, and make sure that all "normal"* cars go there.
Had a great time, though. Good to see some of you again. Including someone who recognised me, said Hi, had a chat. Had no idea who he was. At all...
*Normal: not wanting to be snobbish, but modern eurobox's have no place in the main car park. Modern interesting (like the Viper) or old does.
Did anyone see that Capri with the metallic paintwork? How did that survive the 80s?

We were in "M". Ended up under the big tree on the right on the way in.
