I'll be there in whatever time it takes me to get there from Sheffield, plus 10 minutes to get vaguely cleaned up as I've been playing with the car most of the afternoon and am somewhat oily.

the chips where the highlight of the evening, was funny when I asked him where the local chippy was.

the reply I got was

hmmm chips (scratches head)

well, chipshop (rubs chin)

"if you had told us you where all coming I would have put on chips sandwiches etc etc" then says hold on and dissapears upstairs.

he comes back and says sorry but we can only give you freshly coocked chips in a barm.

that would be perfick says I, and great chips they where.

Good venue, worth a look again I think. If we can get rough numbers to the landlord he'll do a better spread next time.. Didn't catch the price if he mentioned one though..
