Where's this castle?

The Castle Inn is opposite Nottingham Castle. Everyone knows where that is hehe

Walk up Friar Lane from the Old Market Square and continue across Maid Marion Way to the end of Friar Lane. You will now be outside Nottingham Castle. Opposite, across the cobbled street, is the Castle Inn.

or you could just head for the best known landmark in the east midlands

well now... it's all a bit silly this parental lark isn't it?

I wasn't going to come to this anymore as i'm pissed off with work and it's late...but my mother has just financially induced me to have sunday lunch with her and meet an aged relly so it looks as though if I can sneak out without putting me on too much of a guilt trip (yes, sometimes I am capable of having a conscience! fleeting though it is...) then i'll see you lot there.

just got to get home, get out of my suit, get packed (toothbrush & pit spray stored in between the seats ) and get on t'road (as they say up here)

tally ho!

edit:

could emma or war8en keep your phone on please thanks thumbup

yikes

I remember that now!

..why did someone put that huge floodlight next to that lamp post anyway? once it dawned on me that I could get enough resonance going to make it sway 2ft either side I should have been dragged away...

I am now shuddering at the thought of what would have happened if i'd actually managed to get it to make contact and shatter that light...i'd probably have run like the wind! hehe dear me, someone keep me away from alcohol! paperbag
