there should be a ph meeting in coventry, avoiding the a45 at all costs though, and the a46, christ, never seen so many speed traps in my life

K321 - are you 'git' on Saabcentral mate? Hows the 900 vert doing - last time we met was in Cov car park and you were having 'issues' with your hood? See if you remember (same username on central for me - i'm the cobra and viper beater on the Gumball thread!)

yes thats me. but thank goodness i have graduated from a saab to a volvo and porsche! i havent driven the saab in over a week, its let me down so many times over the summer, breaking down a lot, but i got it all fixed. is your car still driving? i think i will keep my saab forever as it was the first car i have owned.

wavey Christ... where have you lot been hiding.

I've been here for two years now - well, term time atleast - I'll be city centre based from the 23rd again. You *CAN'T* have missed me. If you have ever seen a light blue Cerb rumbling around Cov, its my Dad... if you've ever seen a Smart car in bright blue and silver (now all black) its me. If you've seen a prat wobbling around Ikon, chances are it was me. If you were in A+E last week over night, that was me eek ... the list goes on.

Definately up for a Cov PH meet...

Charlie66 or something like that (top bloke, mainly in the GT racing forums, verrry knowledgeable) is studying Motorsport Engineering here too, despite living in the same building as him for a year, I havent actually met him, must change that soon.

Dan

Pub with big car park, I would say. Possibly near some decent roads, if people would be interested in that.

Suggestions:-
Old Mill: Huge car-park, easy to find, variable food but better than Harvester quality.
Bear at Berkswell: Same chain, slightly better food, busier, bit out-of-the-way.
Red Lion at Corley: Smaller car-park and need to book well in advance for food, but great food nice roads around there. Also a little out-of-the-way.

I would say Pheasant @ Withybrook, but the car-park's not huge, neither is the bar-area.

Any other thoughts?

Griff shouldn't be a big deal. Wouldn't go near the Holyhead!

Another Nuneaton alternative is the one on the Bermuda Retail Park (off A444 just before Griff), near to McDonalds. They've a big car park and a pool table inside.
