A very pleasant evening - great to see everyone 
You'll have to wait a bit longer to see what's replacing the S2000 - the deal's just fallen through
Put the car through a full pre-purchase inspection at a local specialist and a couple of expensive things came up, but apart from them it was a very good car. But the dealer selling it isn't prepared to get the work done or move enough on the price - so it's time to walk away and keep looking

Good on you for walking away, lots of people don't, and end up with problems.

When they came up with a cock and bull story about 'someone phoned up this morning offering £500 below asking price to buy it unseen as-is' I just told them to sell it to them.
Still, nevermind - got an appointment to view another car on Saturday morning

It was lovely seeing everyone and I really enjoyed it, including fighting with the flock of dead sheep that was on my plate! HOW much lamb???
