Does any one know a place for on car wheel balancing near Solihull or near Evesham. Wheels are perfectly balanced but I still have wobble.

Thanks

Is it definately wheel balance ? I had a pretty nasty vibration that was driving me nuts for a few weeks. Felt just like a wheel out of balance. Had the wheels balanced. Still there. Had them done again at another garage to check. Nope still spot on, vibration still there. Took it to my favourity indie (V8 Centre high wycombe) and it turns out that the garage doing the previous service handnt been completed it properly (at this point i'd had the beast about 6 months so this was down to the previous owner grrr). The propshaft has a joint (UJ ?) that needs to be properly packed with grease at every service. They opened it up and it was dry as a bone. So they rotated it and put it back together, packed with grease, problem sorted !

Also just FYI had something similar on my Omega, 3 wheel balances and 2 trackings later turned out to be a stuffed damper at the back. New dampers and again problem solved.

Try to find someone who's got a road force balancer:
www.pro-align.co.uk/products/balancers/psbalhunter.htm

There is a 'centre locator' on that page, but I guess you'd have to call to see if anyone had that machine.

Dampers are all new, but haven't had propshaft looked at. Took my local specialist out in the car on saturday, he reckons drivetrain somewhere, so I'll get him to start with the propshaft UJ and the joints on the halfsahfts.

Thanks
