Cerbera....Cheap.

The initial outlay may have been cheap, but the running costs are horrendous. Thats why i've always avoided them.

Some car's (if looked after right) can be good examples, and cost little money for a years worth of driving, just as long as you keep on top of them!

2003 car with just 8,900 miles covered and one owner from new.

Sounds good to me. In a good colour they are one of the prettiest cars ever made. Quick too. They can be expensive to run, but most think it worth the cost.

Tell him to take it easy for the winter though, slippy roads and 440bhp are a "fun" mix. 4th to 2nd downshifts before a corner are a classic way to put your Cerb backwards through a hedge!

Sounds like a bargain to me, just tell him to take it steady as they are a bit lethal. Mine will spin the wheels at eighty in second gear.

Had mine for 5 years, i dont drive it much this time of year, i find they're best saved for summer & track days.

In terms of reliability, mines been superb, only used RAC once in 5 years ( snapped throttle cable ).

They do need looking after though, plenty of preventative maintenance & always warm 'em up properly.

Have fun, they're the most amazing car this side of a £100k supercar
