Awesome Saxo BG. Looks very Norse Helmet in style. I could see it in a modern version of some sort of Mythology Tale a la Disney.

Was it an rejected extra from Cars?

Wonder what happened to the original 348 alloys though? they are very similar to the proper 355's anyway.

The original 348 alloys are quite different to those on a 355.

Looks really good, but it'd really finish it off with the wheels and the rear light conversion.....

Theres a few sets on eBay....
355 Wheels
More 355 Wheels

Time for a bit of overtime as I bet anything with the F word on it is an arm and a leg. rotate

It's great getting a car you've always wanted. For ages i wanted a De Tomaso Pantera and eventually i found a GT5 in my price range. (It was very cheap, because it was in fact the earlier car with a GT5 kit on, but nobody knew!).

In many ways that was the perfect supercar. Gorgeous Italian-esque styling with a simple, bulletproof 350 bhp pushrod Ford V8 engine. (351 Cleveland).

At £8K in 1987 it was a snip!

All in good time my dear chap, all in good time hehe

Even for those replica wheels, once you add in the price of the tyres and spacers you're looking at nearly £2.5k

Rear tail light conversion comes in at about £1500

If even think of splashing out another £4k after just buying the car I suspect I'll be sporting a new pair of pink and hairy earings! eek
