On the way back from work spotted an '08 Saab 93 Turbo X next to the Leicester Mercury...never saw one before or even heard of one but a quick Google search says it has 276bhp when new and came with a V6, although the wheels rang a bell...very cool sleeper car essentially smile

Neat cars them things.
AWD on them is a bit on the fancypants side too.
Haldex system which was pretty cutting edge at the time, Saab and Haldex being besties they got the new toys first.

911 Turbo (996) - Reg ** BAY on the A1 near Newark this morning.

Had a PH sticker under the reg plate
That was me on my way down South, in a bit of a hurry as I was delayed getting away from Hull. Has an even quicker run north from Gatwick starting at 7pm.

Only my 2nd spotted in 10 years. Seal Grey is very stealthy.

Was it a red one?
It was a black one...the exhausts/rear lower skirt got my attention first and I then looked closely at the badges as I rolled to the queue at the traffic lights.

ETA: Cheers for the extra info Scarble!

It might be BS, just heard it somewhere smile
But iirc around when it was launched they did some videos showing it off doing a slalom.
There was some claim it could do it faster than a Ferrari or something hehe
Heck of a sleeper mind. Big heavy turbo cars aren't really my thing but these are pretty awesome.
I wonder what the spares situation is these days?

oh and I think they only came in black.. so not sure about this red one.

Anyone know the real figures for these?
Autotrader turns up.. a 2.8 V6 "XWD" auto estate, 8s to 60, a Turbo-X saloon, auto, 6.8 to 60 and a Turbo-X manual 5.4 to 60.
All 280hp.
Auto boxes are s**t but they're not that s**t.

I think if I had one, I'd put a roof rack on it and maybe kiddy shades.

Like I said I had to google the red Saab that I seen and i narrowed it down to a Turbo X I could be wrong and I stand to be corrected as the man said in the orthopaedic shoes.

Here is a googled image of what I seen:

Yesterday spotted an S63 AMG (the model before it had colour coded strips in the rear lights) on London Road near the train station. Today spotted a stunning old white Mercedes-Benz coupe (maybe a 1960's~ish 250SE?) in Birstall before 8:30am which implies it could've been used to go to work, which is pretty cool in itself! And a white Lambo Gallardo (probably a 2012 model) in the same area on the way back from work too smile

Ultima (356Speedster maybe?) and a couple of Caterhams at Oakenshaw McDonalds roundabout about 8am yesterday morning, en route to Sunday Service? I passed in the TVR as you were waiting to pull out.

ETA: also spotted a very nice looking Corvette C6 Z06 on the M6/M42, crossed over a lanes width of hatch markings to join the M42 100 yards early kicking up an enormous dust cloud rolleyes

Just to add to the discussion on BMW i3's, i saw a silver one a couple of weeks ago just outside Warwick. I only caught a quick glimpse but it looked pretty cool.
