.I was contacted by a local company ( To Me ) with a view to providing some trim components to start assembling a very low number of these beauties. Not heard anything since providing some samples, but we can but hope, I believe they had bought all the spares they could lay their hands on and were looking at a £50,000 price tag.
Sorry can't provide anymore info as they are keeping a low profile until they have a prototype.

Seriously?!
I thought it went without saying, obviously not. The MINI brand is a separate entity away from BMW. The Audi A1 and the Seat Ibiza have the same basic architecture underneath, likewise the Rolls Royce Ghost with the BMW 7'er. Would you tell me those examples are from the same brand?

And yet the latest f56 varient is based on the one series platform, regardless of the place or company name thy ain't based on the original design, and are BMW's.
The new F56 Mini is the first car off the new UKL1 platform, but that means virtualy nothing to anyone, but I'll agree it's not the original 1950s Mini, in the same way the current 911 shares nothing with the 356, things have moved on somewhat.Gassing Station | Midlands | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
