Midlands Exciting Cars Spotted
Discussion
Spotted a Vectra GSi last week on the A5. Didn't like them at all when they were out, but this one looked spotless and actually really cool in a 90's nostalgic sort of way!
Didn't get a photo but it was white / white, very much like this:
And according to Wiki:
"Only 3900 2.5 GSi models were ever produced, mostly in saloon and hatchback guise. With only 317 estate versions produced during this time, they became one of the rarest production Vauxhalls ever.
On model years 2001 and 2002, a last of the line 2.6 GSi was made also but these were limited to 500 cars. These were again mostly saloons and hatchbacks however 37 estates were made."
I don't recall the registration, but given the age and type of car, I'd imagine there aren't many left today, especially as clean as this appeared.

Spotted a Sunbeam Lotus on the M54 heading toward Telford! Can't recall ever seeing one before (can't be many about nowadays?) - looked just like this photo but with no spot lamps:
Going back a few years...I used to lust after these guys cars:I can't believe they still have them and were heading home though...far too many years have passed...
