So did it set a time,? I hold the record round the figure of 8 track for a production car, 1.19.1, in my 918
1.19.1 is a time?? Do you mean 79.10 seconds?? A road going Mitsubishi has done a 64.83! A locatafield was even quicker, although it may have been in race trim.

On the way home this afternoon on the M54, passed by a Shelby Mustang just like this:

Have to say it looked incredible approaching in my mirror and driving by, such a cool car and surprisingly small!

This was the record holder below before my time, that 64.83 was on the short course? I am talking production stuff only.

TorqueR, what's Chesterfield like for car events? Currently up here every weekend and may be moving up shortly.

There is nothing too interesting with regards to car events/meets but we are close to places such as Chatsworth & Hardwick Hall which often have car club meets and such like. I am happy to be proven wrong but I believe that supercardriver (SCD) is based in/around Chesterfield. Hope that helps and I will keep an eye out for your car at the weekend.

Lovely yellow Mk2 Escort at M54 Jct 4 (Telford) services today.

Not sure which exact version though I think it had the black '1600 Sport' decals, and a set of front spot lights.

Very cool!

Small world - turns out this used to be owned by the (female) project manager in my office laugh

Wonder if the current owner is in here..

I spotted the new Mk3 Ford Focus RS on the B6050 in Chesterfield.

It is my second (new) Focus RS that I have seen and it looks great in my humble opinion. I gave the driver a quick thumbs up but not sure whether he saw it. wavey

What was the registration? As one was stolen last night.
This is a post from social media...

"STOLEN -Please can all my friends share -- Our yellow MK2 reg 0KH 368V was stolen from a house outside a friends house in Burnley Road, Colne last night, but it could be anywhere by now...It's an an extremely noticeable and loud car so if any one sees anything or knows anything please please get in touch, we are all absolutely gutted 😠 it was last taken to a petrol station at asda in colne where the thief used a card to pay with a pin! Please share!!"

Probably not the same one but just in case.

Matt

After about 5-6 mins of leaving Donington on Monday about 2.40-50pm heading in the opposite direction I passed a Red Ferrari F40lick

I don't recall ever seeing one before so to see it on the road rather than at an event was a nice end to my day at the Historic racing.

I didn't see the reg, it went past me so I only really got a side view of it.

This is roughly what it looked like, though in truth I can't recall if it had a black roof or the black rear spoiler. Was definitely yellow, 1600 Sport, with a full set of spot lamps.

I don't use Facebook but if you're in contact with the owner of the stolen one it may be worth letting him know of a potential spot, I'm sure the services has CCTV as it drove right past the front entrance.

It's a long shot, but I guess they're pretty rare cars especially in that spec, so with a shot?

Thanks for the reply, I'll send the owners a message.
