Ok, this isn't an exciting spot for me, but the wife saw a Boxster Spyder parked outside the Birds shop/factory(?) in Derby this morning.
Obviously being a woman, she didn't get a pic.

I'd probably be more excited seeing that than a GT-R (R35 as opposed to a proper GT-R) or a Panaramara or modern Aston-of-some-type-or-other. Very nice and likely a proper enthusiasts car. Incidentaly, while I'm posting anyway (having restrained myself before) I passed first time with 3 faults, "approach speed to a junction" (bit of roll), "use of gears" (gutless diesel Corsa needed some beans) and something else for being too gangsta*, or just cos the examiner was trying to fill a quota. I was pretty surprised to not get anything for my "reverse round a corner" as that all went wrong with cars coming out of the road I was reversing into and just stopping dead all clueless and in my way, pedestrians crossing directly behind my very obvious learner car (BSM roof pyramid) with reverse lights on and a car on the road I was leaving getting so close as to almost block the front of my car from coming round.

Today I must admit was a little boring as I did not spot any cars with even with a hint of interest - an Audi S3 was about as exciting it got.. ...but then about 10-15 minutes ago while on M1 I saw two very lovely cars on opposite side (both around M1 J29/29a) Ford GT (newer shape) Ferrari 458 Italia The GT was awesome, my first ever spot and I wish I got a picture due to the rarity of it - white with blue stripes! The Fezza was also in a great colour scheme - a dark red with black alloys. Anyone on here?

Maybe - It really brightened my day, I have been lucky enough to sit in a proper GT40, but this was the first time I spotted the 2005+ model shape - It was not very far from home either and quite rare. IIRC we only have 26 in the UK? Typical all the interesting cars are always on the opposite carriageway so I cannot spot the number plate or get a photo..

Are you serious?!? I live in Chesterfield and have yet to see a Spyker.  Next time, could you please give warning if possible? __________________________Also: Ford F250 Harley Davidson on Ecclesall Rd in Sheffield.

Over at Gaydon for the mini show in the clubman yesterday had a good play with a light blue TVR tasmin I think on the way back up the Fosse to Hinckley.
Also earlier in the morning to my surprise at the mill on the saw pub on the old B4114 a Blue with white stripe ford GT40 not sure if it was a rep or not but looked amazing.
Then waiting for some other minis to join our group at a lay by on the A5 about 15-20 VW buses passed going towards Lutterworth.

Saw a blue Monaro with white wheels, 54(?) plate on the M1 around J25 at about 7:30 this morning.
Around J22/21 I saw a new Beetle in a nice airforce blue colour with black stripes.
On the M69 I saw a red R8, I think, making good progress. Actually looks decent in that colour.

Saw my first Pug 208 today and I think it looks better in the flesh than pictures. I only saw the front though, and it was a higher spec one. Would I buy one if I had the choice? I doubt it.
