Light coloured dash tops do reflect in the windscreen like a bd don't they!
Same as this stupid design on the Chimaera.Photo shown is not my interior but this one shows the problem of the silver air vents reflecting.
I never noticed it,then gave the keys to my Brother and within a minute first thing he says " Does that not get on your nerves?" pointing at the reflection
I said... Never noticed it... I do now though

I'm sure on my Chimaera the vents were black plastic? Are the aluminium bits a Leven accessory?Photo shown is not my interior but this one shows the problem of the silver air vents reflecting.

In which case easily swapped.
My dad specced his Jaguar with a light dash top against my advice, bugged him from the very first sunny day and he sold the car in the end.

Got it in one, Bertie - they are an expensive extra (£67.20), which I have avoided on my car which is otherwise that colour interior.
You learn something new everyday.Never knew they were Leven bits, surprised on the picture posted they changed those vents and the ashtrays but not the stalks.
It doesn't annoy me enough to change them back to the original black, but once your eyes focus on it you can't help looking at the reflection.

Saw a red Caterham/Westfield on a trailer heading north on the A1 near Grantham at around 7.15 last night. Loved it's rear number plate "RED SHED".
If the owner reads this, I was the numpty in the TVR who gave it a few revs passing you, then backed off sharply before I got to the car in front - I both heard and felt my unintentional flame thrower effect
