Didn't say that, but normally all cars are parked pointing the centre of the island. This one was parked at an angle, making plate hard to read. Parking to stop plate being read is not something I'd credit local lot with gumption to do . Not so long ago they tore up to reported break ins with B &2 etc going, giving the little scrotes every chance to get out of it. It wasn't till our local county man commented on how easyit was to get advanced warning that the penny dropped, and arrests rose .

Nuneaton, plate BM62, didn't get rest of it, as parked to make plate reading awkward- perhaps some BIB on here are reading this. BMW silver estate.
Also seen last week on the A46 just off M40 J15...unless there are 2 silver BM estates that is. (opposite carriageway and it was dark)

No doubt it'll be back soon . It's strange though that all the ANPR etc resources are targeted on town centres. Elroy- no flaming, I'd just put it badly. No inference that parking was such as to avoid detection, but rather that due to angle ,i couldn't read it without compromising safety .

Glen- best place to spot unmarkeds is on the Council House island. They always park on the access to the electric board compound, next to the the council house on the way past ( on the opposite side of the road )to Sainsbury.

Silver insignia BX11 KPO on the A46 today between Stratford and Cov,i was behind it for a while until it pulled an Astra over. The led's in the rear window very blatant most people were slowing down except the astra.

I'd suggest we might see more cars from West Mercia featured in Warks posts, as I've now seen a marked West Mercia car locally. Perhaps Battenburg x might give us his views on the notorious Nuneaton Ringroad .

You may also notice that the individual Force livery on their vehicles has also now been removed (or is in the process of being so),to reflect the alliance between Mercia and Warwickshire...

Black '61' plate Octy vRS parked in the slip road opposite the Barnt Green Inn at lunchtime. Looking for a few drink drivers I would guess.
