South Midlands Monthly Meet - First Tuesday Eve of the Month
Discussion
Rather than start a new thread for each monthly meet I thought it would be better if there was one rolling monthly meet thread instead. That way if you bookmark or post on this thread you will always receive updates. We can then just add details of each meet as it closer to the time.
Monthly meets are on the first Tuesday of the month at the Falcon Inn just outside Hatton. http://thefalconathatton.com
Meeting start times are usually somewhere between 7pm-8pm depending on the weather and who can get out of work on time.
All PHers welcome you don't need a supercar to come along, but if you do have one then you are especially welcome!
Edited to update new venue for 2015

I'm not joining this thread until you lot have swept up!
Are you likely to be free May or June for a trackday at Bedford Autodrome?Have you seen anything else?
My only concern is very few track-day websites say how many cars are permitted on the day - I've done days at Donny where it's been a 60-car limit with 40-some attendees and it's been glorious, and a day at Donny where they had 80 cars there and it was permanently rammed on-track and not much fun at all...we'd need to check that before we book anything, I'd suggest a maximum of 25 cars per mile of circuit.
Depends if you and interested people can get half a day off to do a track evening.

Only 20 or so cars on this one.

A full day will be much better value but there don't seem to be many good dates.
I've been out this weekend and been shocked at just how widespread these 50mph limits are in Warwickshire.
The Southam to Banbury road A423 is part of the Breakfast Run Triangle and is now 50 mph all the way to the Oxon border.
50mph is pityfully slow even in our diesel estate especially on a road like A423 that doesn't have heavy traffic or a poor accident record.

And I have the joys of the 50mph speed limit everyday no matter which direction I take out of the lane The Southam to Banbury road A423 is part of the Breakfast Run Triangle and is now 50 mph all the way to the Oxon border.

Bad enough in the diesel Audi but even worse in the Chim that has a strong dislike for sitting at 50mph.
