A man has to be prepared for the zombie apocalypse.
I now feel inadequate and like I've failed my family.....It does pose the inevitable question about what I might buy next. That will be in 5 years time but I better start thinking about it.
Currently looking at 6WD and 8WD Russian trucks to convert into an overland camper. Not sure they'd make a good daily driver though - I have to park the GL in one of the four longer bays available at work. I think the Kamaz 8x8 is twice the length.

I am contracting in Tyseley at the minute and saw you drive past a few months ago, plate and colour are good. Wondered if you were on here, saw your car at phss silverstone as well. Very nice.Yeah I have a look on here now and again.

love the alloys on it. what else you thinking of doing? looks nice as it though
Nothing else to be honest (yet), its got wheels, lowering springs, splitter and rear difuser, full turbo back exhaust and some other bits. Just moved out my parents house so funds are a bit tight now haha! Tempted to get a zunsport lower grill and get a stick on plate, and I would like to take it in for a remap but ideally you'd need a block mod done and an RS clutch so thats £1000-£1500 before you've even started paying for the actual remap and supporting mods!
Here is one of my two

Paul that is an absolute beauty!!!! Clearly I haven't been to a meet in too long; work kept me away tonight sorry. So how long have you had it? Will you be bringing it to MBC on the 26th?

Hi Rich,R
Slight adaptation of the truth as my old man purchased it a couple on months back,so it isn't mine but I am insured on it and love it so much that if he sells it I will buy it so I guess it is mine to be
Its got a cracking list of mods but one thing that may surprise most is the spec from the factory. 2L Twin Cam engine, Limited Slip Diff, 5 Speed gearbox, Twin Line servo brakes, Disc brakes all around. Not much to get excited about by todays standards but in 1973 this was high tech and all from a company renowned for being sh*t!
Should be at MBC and it was at the last meet, see photo below:

My previous ride, ended up with the dreaded bore score on 5 and 6 cylinders and needed a rebuild so I traded it in.
for this. A bit different but a lovely car. Still mush the Porsche but until I can get into 981, then I'm holding off.
The wife just traded this in for a 125d, bought her to tears but moving from being an OIM in the North Sea to trainee power station operator involved a lot of miles compared to only being home 6 months of the year an forced a change.
Although when qualified to run power stations she has eyes on a SVM Nissan GT-R, I'm trying to talk her into a Cayman gt4 or lotus exige s. Hopefully I win :-).
