Ey up Dave, hows that Cerb going?
Well, last month was my first Ashby, was hoping to attend this month in the R32 but looks like it'll be the Audi...
But the weather does look a bit touch and go...

Hiya, long time no see! It's all going well thank you (touch wood). I hope to get to AF next week but like you say the weather is uncertain

I know conditions were extremely dry but we've had over 30mm of rain over the weekend with more forecast in the next 12 hours

I beg to differ: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...July 2007. Utter chaos as the cricket pitch is closed. I reckon Ashby is a least double the size it was then so double the amount of chaos. Best bet is to ring the pub on 01664 841 234 to find out if the pitch is open.

Many thanks for the info Dave! just called the pub and theyre not putting on food outside like they normally would...the chap kindly informed me that the cricket club are making a decision on a yes or no at 1 o'clock today. fingers crossed people! might have to go down there and cover the pitch in my drying towells!!!

Just rung and it's still go at the moment, but they advised to ring later (3 ish) for an update, no doubt somebody will post on here as more info is available
