I can't remember now, has anyone got a flyer for it, think it was £2 a car at that one.
If it was a head with your Packard wow, you could fit a bus full in that fantastic car of yours, its a show on its own that car, simply stunning.

According to posts on other forums Calverton is as follow:

'There will be an entry fee of only £2 per adult all parking is free.'

Free parking! Wow, sounds tempting wink.

So thats £4 for the pleasure of showing my car? irked

Guess I'll be back at the Griffin tonight then!

I have to drop off one of the leather straps that I broke at a saddle-maker in Calverton and had arranged to do this tonight before going to the show.

I'll still call over there in my daily motor and have a quick shufty at the venue to see how well attended it is and let you al know at the Griffin later.

Ciao!

I want to try and get down tonight as the weather is so nice.

I've not got my Ferrari anymore, but i'll be bringing my 5 week old daughter to her first car meet.

Great turnout tonight. It was probably the busiest one I've been to, there must have been around 120 cars there.

And lol about the De flunking its MOT - I'll have you know I got seriously dirty last weekend fixing the beggar, so it had better pass! lol

Hope to see you all in 2wks time, weather permitting as always smile

Back in those days, the premium Americans were easily the equal of Rolls Royce, Bentley, Bugatti, Hispano Suiza, Tatra, Mercedes Benz etc.

Cadillac V16 anyone?

yippety yay yippety yay!!!!!!!!!!! My DeLorean passed her MOT today, I'm so chuffed, that means all the hard graft I did last weekend has paid off.

So, it looks like I'll be giving the De an airing at Papplewick next time round, but I will take the Avi along instead one week. I reckon next on the road will be our Toyota Sera.... wink

might give it a miss this week, looks abit wet.

As for the bloody MFN............ sorry, but bike night is nothing but total misery for us here in Brinsley - have you tried getting a baby to sleep when what sounds like the IOM TT is racing past your house with little or no regard for the 30mph limit in the village?

Sorry to rant, but we dread Wednesday nights now between March and October because of the bike nights frown
