+1 for Drogo

Kinda like the idea of North West cornwall though - never have any excuse to visit that part of the world.

Don't like Cheddar - ever since falling off the side ! (whilst climbing, not in car)

Not interested in Drogo - roads leading in are too narrow (I get twitchy just thinking about nasty things like leaves touching the paint). A breakfast meet in the industrial north (Cheddar, Kemble or Combe) would suit though.

No problem with the roads getting there and I'm super fussy about scratches etc

There's only about a mile, if that, of proper Devon singletrack road on the approach to Drogo.

Now now Giles, leave the Northerners alone.
You don't have to play with them if you don't want to.

Not bothered be it either Kemble or Drogo, there isn't a lot in it time wise for me to drive to either. Having said that my car is garaged for the winter now and wont be out until April/May time

I make a genuine offer to try and organise a regular car meet and all people can do is moan. No wonder nothing ever gets done in this country !

Hum! just Googled Kemble and it's closer to Shefield than my house. Bit too far for a regular run up from the SW and not realy in the SW if I'm honest. Nice idea though. I sence there will have to be a separate venue for the two camps. Tally Ho!

Feel sorry for you. They do say you can't please everybody. Just ignore the whingers and carry on or you could meet up at Costa over in Swindon with a few of the regulars.

nothing wrong with the Magic Roundabout. You just need to know it. Best option is to go "the wrong way" around the top of your picture where no other cars are.

I would be happy to go to Kembe, Combe, Cheddar, Swindon. Drogo is 150miles from us in Swindon. I think we need a south west meet and a south south west meet.
