Could there be slightly less space allocated for the dealer stand and more room for PHer's?? I know these guys are helping/covering the cost, but last year there seemed alot of wasted space where the Audi boys were.
I'm sure you have covered this, but have you thought of charging people an entrance fee on the gate, say £5 per car = £5 x 500 = £2,500 plus draw tickets etc, should be able to raise more than last year.

The very bad weather did affect our plans quite late on and everything did feel a little bit cramped/rushed. We have put even more effort in this year to improve the wet weather planning.

There will be a much stronger emphasis on bucket rattling and raffle ticket selling this year (last year was much more about getting the thing to happen at all) and if the weather is dry (fingers crossed) the layout will be very different.

Audi kindly pay for pretty much everything and it's a fairly significant sum. Without them we'd struggle to have an event at all. They are very accomodating and let us run the event how we see fit, but it's only right that they have sufficient space for what they'd like to do - they do also bring some nice cars which will this year include the R8 GTS Spyder. Getting any sponsor at all requires quite a bit of work.

We are also fortunate that the Downs School (who own all of the land) have been amazingly generous this year and have not only allowed us much greater access but also provided a lot of additional support.

It has been considered and for the time being at least we prefer to keep the event free, both in the hope that people will be more generous when they come in and also because it's more in the spirit of a PH event. It also massively eases the flow of cars into the venue as you don't have to wait for every car owner to hunt for their money or to give out change.

To get into the talks we will have a suggested donation of £ 5 per person this year and as a bonus, we are in a proper presentation theatre rather than the hall.

Road Closure Warning

Guys, if anyone is planning to cut through Bristol City Center to get to the event, be warned that the Bristol 10K is taking part on the same date so there will be road closures around the City Center, Harbourside, Swing Bridge & Portway areas.

Due to the recent inclement weather restricting the ground space we can utilise, we will be operating a strict entrance policy to ensure only registered vehicles can park at CwC.

Being a private gathering, there is NO public parking.

Only those vehicles occupying one of the 510 spaces on the list will gain entry.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CARING WITH CARS IF YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THE 510 VEHICLES ON THE REGISTERED LIST.
