Emergency interim curry on tuesday 14th August sounds great. Count me in. Then have another curry later in the month! Obi, do you want a lift? If so 7.20pm. Heading to the Pump House for 7.30 pre curry pint.

Willie Dee said: Driver error or mechanical broken? Hope it's not bad! No driver error! Decided to undertake a supposedly fairly easy job which was going to be about 5hrs labour at the garage. Ended up having a complete nightmare taking the manifold off and broke a couple of intake trumpets... Now need to order said parts fromm BMW and recover the car to the garage so I don't break them putting them back on

I am hoping I should come out broadly even, possibly It was all going fine and I was following a very clear "how to" guide which neglected to mention that there is a radiator hose bizarrely and completely unnecessarily clipped to the back of the manifold... Whilst wrestling with this I managed to remove most of my hand skin and break the rather fragile trumpets. The job that I was actually taking the manifold off for went absolutely fine too, but I don't trust myself to put the bleeding thing back on in one piece!
