Hi Felix,
Good to meet you today, good going too in an inappropriate Autosolo car! Thanks to all involved in making the day such a great event, and for all the Autosolo entrants / passengers in making our part so enjoyable, well done to Deano (again!) in peddling the orange beast to another win. We will be back so hopefully will see you all soon.

Great day at Combe yesterday. After the slippery start and low number of passengers in the morning, things picked up nicely once the sun came out & the track dried. Great to meet up with old friends, and pleased to have been able to help raise ££ for this worthy cause; passengers in my Westy seemed to have a big grin at the end of the rides.
Thoughts out to Ken, hope the Marlin can get fixed up ok.

Hello! Just a quick word to everyone who came along and supported Supercar Saturday 2012 and to Amir in particular for helping out with operating the event, as well Simon, Kyle, Mike, Chris and the rest of the drivers for their fantastic contribution - thank you!
Almost 300 people got the thrill of a ride at high speed round Combe in an exciting car and with a skilled driver. As Kyle rightly says, the effect it has on people is incredible in that they're all pretty much ecstatic with the experience. Whilst the primary aim is to raise money for the Stroke Association, the image of the racing and performance car community is definitely enhanced by this visible demonstration of its generosity. I think the sum raised will be very healthy and as soon as I know what it is I'll let the drivers and crew know.
The BMC Autosolo looked very popular and seems to be growing each year. Thanks to their smart thinking on event permits, they managed to increase their contribution to the charity as well.
So, to all who drove, who helped out and who came along to bag a ride, a huge THANK YOU and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Simon, great to meet you and be parked next to you for most of the day. I think with your car history being very similar and my father bored of his AMV8, after your recommendation a V12 might be on the cards very soon!Simon

That would have been me - £10 was too cheap 
- Glad you enjoyed it. I think I have that ride on video - will have a look.My only issue was that I needed another gear - I was pretty much on the limiter in fifth just after Camp.
My thanks to the organisers - it was a great day and I hope we raised lots of money!

A great event and some great passenger rides. Everyone really friendly, with plenty of people to chat with over the day. Out of the three passenger rides I had during the day, strangely the Cayman was the most memorable. Not the fastest car on the circuit, but very enthusiastically driven;-)
Certainly one of the best events of the year and a great opportunity to help raise money. But at the same time, get passenger rides in cars we might aspire to own in the future, or were always curious about.

Mate that I took really enjoyed his laps with you - although he thinks he weighed you down enough to stop you catching Kyle Tilley in the red 106.... Problem was I was in it and weigh as much as him!! Two great cars and drivers and I always have fun at this event, both on track and in the paddock nosing...Thoughts out to Ken, hope the Marlin can get fixed up ok.
Due to work commitments I can't make this years Supercar Saturday.If anyone wants my place then let me know. It's for track session so previous experience on track is a must and you are committed to the full day.
