This is true, my 4x4 Noble wobble couldn't stick with the Evo, and no I didn't overtake the 4x4 Lamborghini hehe

If the weather is good, will try to pop along.
That's what's the 0.01% is for.
Dont worry, he only pulled 20 feet on a 0-130 dash. Give me a fresh 3" exhaust and i'll be able to match it.
I still cant beleive we didnt find you sticking out of a hedge, I didnt know the road, but the pace you went round the blind bends was ballsy - I backed off and I had 4wd ! That downforce was mighty impressive.

Sounds like it was a good job I went the right way or I may of been the one in the hedge. I do know the roads and the Bathurst is very capable but still. More of a straight line noise maker. smile

Looks like the long range forecast means I am more likely to be coming to this, than Santa Pod. frown

I guess I shouldn't be sad faced but I really wanted to rip up the 1/4 mile this weekend and empty that bottle of NOS. Maybe if someone has a 10mm bolt fed regulator we could all use the nitrous on sunday to make everything seem a lot funnier than it really is?! Oh, its raining, hahahahahaha! biggrin
One of us is going to be very wrong. I have Sunday down as a Z4 day and roof down all the way at that. Fingers crossed and enjoy the 1/4 mile when I'm right.cool

Why don't you go to Shakey? its half the distance or smeatharpe is on saturday and they do run the 1/4mile in the rain

Smeatharpe surface is shocking, and santa pod only going because its a GTI/VW focussed show. Normally wouldn't go that far for a RWYB day. I do need to get to Shakey at some point, but its still a fair distance - probably 2/3 of the way compared to the Pod.

Will have to wait until Saturday until I know what I am doing on the Sunday. Might well be wet in Devon, but dry in Northamptonshire, so will need to make that call when more accurate forecasts come out.

I just went for a blast about, to make up for missing this. If you had as much fun as me, then well done.

Although, i reset the trip when i left home and some how it was reading 19.3 when i arrived home, down from the usual 21 mpg.
So either
1)fuel computer is broken
2)it's a hybrid and i dont know it
3)im not doing it properly

scratchchin

Looks like I will be heading for the Midlands. Forecast is good for the Midlands and raining here, but I can't be in two places at once...

I used to only get 13mpg on a run in the Jag..........you must try harder

Get yourself an upgraded supercharger pulley from Phoenix Coachworks in Collumpton and you'll see ALL the benefits too
