Maybe outdoor at Thruxton or Claypigeon next spring/summer when it gets warmer?

I had been thinking about going along to clay pigeon to see what it's like so I'd definitely be game. Although warmer? Surely it takes a real man to race in the cold conditions we have at the moment Maybe outdoor at Thruxton or Claypigeon next spring/summer when it gets warmer?

Regarding the aches they weren't a problem until I got to work today and had to lift lots of 2mm thick sheet countless times

Clay Pigeon seems to be £55 for 1/2 hour driving per driver, based on their standard rates.
I think 3/4 of an hour per driver was a good length of time at the place in Weston.
It does say call about tailoring, but it's likely to be much more. I'll enquire in the next week or so.
Or go on a track day for around £150 (inc fuel) and share with another driver. Much better value for money imo.I think 3/4 of an hour per driver was a good length of time at the place in Weston.

I had a look at the Thruxton website today and it seems to be pricey although it does seem very good and a couple of my work friends rate it highly.
Also as regards to the track day idea it may work out as better value for money however it excludes some people (like myself), you're not allowed (or not supposed to) "race" and if you prang it, then you foot the bill but in karting you just hand the kart back over and walk away happy.
They're two completely different activities IMO.
