The food at Mehak in Keynsham is excellent, as is the service. I will try and make a Bristol curry night one month, main problem is Mrs MG goes to pilates on Thursday, but negotiations will be held.

OK, how about Wednesday 28th November? I lived in Clifton from 2001-2 and Bishopston 2002-3 but have lived in Keynsham since and usually go out in Bath rather than Bristol so not too up-to-date on Bristol curry venues, anyone care to suggest a venue? (not the one you went to last night by the sound of it!).

Martin, Martin , Martin!!!!! I fear you have been led into a trap here. Prepare for several date and venue changes to follow biggrin

Bit of a shame I wasn't back from Laaaaandan until late otherwise I would have joined you.

Yep 190 Coronation Rd, ex cafe by the Bristol packet.

The madras was top dollar, the missus had a Mango Korma (morongo)

Totally booked out everytime I've been there, I'd thoroghly recommend it (licensed too)

I'm home alone tomorrow night and fancied going out. Does anyone want to do a recce on a new curry house so that if I recommend it for the "offical" November curry I won't get my balls chewed off it it's not up to scratch? Perhaps Coronation Rd or Myristica?
