What Martin is trying to say is as follows.....

I will book 4 rooms, only need 2 of them and then when I arrive I will wimp out and say "I may as well use the hotel room" therefore avoiding the campsite !

In reality, I intend to make my tent more comfortable that those 2* hotel rooms. Im taking a fridge, a three piece suite, a water bed, a 4 storey tent and an annexe containing a night club and dancing girls. My butler will be on hand to assist in dressing me and carrying my torch.

Seriously - I also emailed them last night, so we probably have 16 pitches now !!

Can everyone who wants me to book the eurotunnel email me with their reg numbers asap.

Also let me know if you have a spare seat as I have a few more people coming who might rather jump in a sports car than go in a 'daily driver'.

Im still waiting for a reply to my email i sent the hotel hours ago, did they say exactly how many hotel rooms were left. Trying to persuade a couple of people to come but all want luxury of a hotel room rather then camping.

I have bought myself a tent ! it was a bargain at 75 and might even last for a couple trips to LeMans as well.

Now im getting carried away.......bought an airbed too......

It's occurred to me that when you book the eurotunnel, on a card, you have to instert the same card into the automated machine upon entry...

This may prove somewhat 'fun' upon arrival - we now have about 10 cars and probably 3 bikes....

I'll call them in the morning to see if I can do a multiple booking on the phone and also enquire how we all book in.

I'll update tomorrow.
