The Spa Tickets website uses a ticket agent....that doesnt recognise the groups of 10+ deal and cant sell more than 12 tickets.
So I have to phone the call centre in Belgium and speak Dutch

Anyone here speak hurdy gurdy ?

Can pay as a gift through PayPal if that's easiest.
Giles I'm hoping I can pinch a bit of your boot space if I can.
Loads of room in the back of mine biggrin
Haha, could you send the Astra van via Exeter??
The lad coming with me is a really nervous driver so I'll have some natural braking hehe Anyway, as I said to him, he's got nothing to worry about being a passenger with me smile

Hi Giles, No not taking the RS, I am actually thinking of just making it into a cheap trackday car as im more interested at the moment in uprating the performance and suspension on my pickup and thats gonna set me back quite a lot of money.

As for Spa we plan to jump in with someone else as we may end up staying a bit longer if things dont go as planned.

I am trying to get the cheapest tickets which are thru ticketnet in belgium for 25euros in a group of 10+ but they cant do it online and i cant get thru to the call centre.

I have found UK suppliers but they want £30 per ticket whereas 25euro = £21.50.

We may have to bite the bullet and buy from UK supplier, otherwise on the gate.

I havnt given up yet, have emails out to the call centre for ticketnet in Belgium

I have now given up on speaking hurdy gurdy.

Instead I have emailed these guys
http://www.tickets-2-u.com/page4643/Spa-Classic.as...

Asked for a group rate

Worst case it will be £30 a ticket.

Obviously not going to hear anything over Easter. Plenty of time. I'll update you next week.

Unless you got anywhere with Brian at 1st Tickets ?

Nothing back from Brian as yet, which is unusual - he's normally quick to respond. Perhaps he's away at the mo.

I'll chase him up on Tuesday and let you know.

Leave the tickets to me

Tickets 2U have offered me £30 per ticket with an added extra:

"In addition to the general entrance, paddock and grandstand, we will also offer your group access to our exclusive lounge box above the old F1 start/finish."

That will be invaluable, particularly if it rains at any time.

15 TICKETS ARE BOOKED
I will post up later on how you can pay me

Does this mean we are going to have to grow a massive Moustache and buy ourselves a Cravat each. If it doesn't, can we anyway???

Dear All Atendees

I have paid up front for all the tickets + a recorded delivery charge. They will be sent to me a couple of weeks before the event.
I have also agreed to have use of the Tickets2U lounge overlooking the old F1 grid.

If people can pay me in advance, please either email me at giles.burden@mpsa.com and request my bank details or use the same address to pay me via PayPal as a gift. If some of us are not on PH etc then they can pay on the day when we meet up.

Cost £31 per ticket (£30 + £1 delivery charge)

I will bring the tickets and distribute on the Eurotunnel / meeting point.
