Just got home, 1018 miles later!!! Thanks to all and thanks to everyone for making Graham (now known to all as Carl Pilkington) so welcome, he really enjoyed the trip, but has vowed never to go camping again unless its above 20degrees and has a man servant to help him hehe
Once again great company, trip down was a bit testing, but we got there in the end. Looking forward to the joint 50th bash already!!!! biggrin

Great trip guys, I racked up 1124 miles in total. What an amazing circuit, 97 metres of height difference around the circuit, Eau Rouge obviously the most impressive hill.
Great bunch of people as usual. High point for me was being in the F1 pit garages while all the F2 cars were started and rolled out onto the grid.
Very strange weather, I have never had snow and sunburn on the same day before (not on a ski resort).
Quite strange local Belgium people too, dont smile too much !
The drive to and from the circuit was a mixture of fun and traffic, suprisingly busy.
Lastly - a big THANKS to all who attended, without you it wouldnt of been half as much fun.

Great trip boys, great fun, great company and one awesome circuit.

Apologizes for getting the early train back, we were on our own in a massive carriage with full head height, size of a football pitch before they closed the doors, we all could of got on. We were put on the front of the train, as we got on the attendant standing beside the train said as long as we gave it some beans he would let us go to the front.... had to oblige.

Arrived home after dropping Neil off, to find I had his passport still in the car, he flies off to Greece islands tomorrow so he had to rag down to me today.

Giles, thanks for sorting out accommodation, but we all realise now that some luxuries are required, and I now will NOT be bringing a BBQ or gazebo again tongue out

Next year BIG 50 LMC, will start to plan, fancy a chateau or something similar.

Thanks again for a great trip........... Here's to the next one

If the weather had been 15-20 degrees in the evening instead of 0-5 degrees then it would of been a whole different story and we'd of used the BBQ and certainly the gazebo. I would still camp again in guaranteed 15degree+ weather, but to be honest I reckon a Chateau or a mobile home will be the order of the day !

Neil, you obviously didn't see me walk into the hotel, after my cup of tea, dressed in the same attire. It is not a regular hobby and completely out of character but I didn't want to get my jeans wet wink

As for Neil, I could tell he was " up for a few beers" and in the mood to get slaughtered. I thought he coped well. It has been known for him to miss a days racing at Le Mans due to excessive alcohol.

Brief highlights on YouTube under Spa Classic 2013 South West Pistonheads. Check out Jo on the Ninja, enjoy!!
