Hello Ted and others, I have been wanting to do this for months and if you only knew what kind of Contract I'm working on at the moment, you'd understand why I have either not been able to make it or commit. Though sometimes its been down to just plain bad luck.

What I'm trying to say is that if I can get to leave early enough on Tuesday to make it, can I still turn up?

Though I can't really promise to get there, I'd like the chance....... If that's a problem and/or you need def numbers, that's cool, I'll try next time.

Regards
Warren

Hi Warren, wouldn't be a problem at all. They're flexible at the Old Lodge.and I'm not actually sure exactly how many we're expecting anyway!

Hope you can make it.

Ted,

Apologies - I've only just seen your message. I'm going round a museum with a load of solicitors that night, so no can do! A real shame as I always enjoy a sit down meal.

Nice one. Table booked in the bar.

Look forward to seeing you all.

A museum of solicitors - sounds the right collective noun smile

A brief of solicitors and a museum of pensioners.

Better than a brief museum of solicitous pensioners!

Or a solicitous museum of pensioners' briefs...

... That sounds awful!!

I did enjoy it.
Topics on discussion included (allegedly) faux Calvin Klein skiddies and whether GT4 running gear is an appropriate base on which to weld a classic Mini body.
Oh, and the bill presentation at the end was entertaining,

regadrs,

Just like to add that the conversation to be honest was pretty pants, the dropped ice cream and mayonnaise on a spoon incredulous, food good and the company was excellent.

Have a good one Gentlemen, see you in 2014.

Not forgetting that despite Richard (Dilligaf) wearing huge rubbers he only had 3.5" and no-one spots him....

Merry Christmas all...

Well I've tried on at least two separate occasions to be there and failed dismally, then trying to finish a job for Christmas I managed to sever a tendon in my hand which has resulted in 12 weeks off work.

So yes I'd like to try again in March as long as I'm not flooded out, someone needs me to finish furniture that night (like the last time) or its snowing. smile

If not, I'm going to try my best to get up to the annual Oulton Park RS day in March to watch the 911s and GT3s racing around. I think I saw your name on the list Ted?
