Got something else happening earlier that evening so won't be able to make it in time. frown
So, in my best Duncan Bannatyne voice - "I'm oot!"

Just a heads up in case the routes cross, there's a coast to coast cycle ride finishing in Burnham-on-sea, most should be finished by then (aim is for sunset) but with 205 miles to cover there may be stragglers and they'll be knackered and slow, hopefully I'll not be one of them!
Our route is here http://connect.garmin.com/course/1235599#

Enjoy your drive!

Chances are there will be a few strugglers determined to forge on and complete the ride regardless of time.
~You may encounter oncoming cyclists on the cheddar gorge-mendips stretch, not asking you to not have fun, just look twice before overtaking.

Picked up my 944 last night, so I'll bring that along instead of the MR2. I've literally only driven it the 20 miles home last night, so it will be a good opportunity to do a few miles driving

Wow, you're coming a long way! Top man! I'd go for the M4, then off at J18 and head South cross country personally, as the A303 will probably be clogged up!

Looking forward to this.
Got to put some serious effort into washing my car today. My car looks like one of those bits of sticky fly paper. (because race car etc)

Sorry dudes - thought I'd posted earlier, but apparently a family wedding takes precedence over a hoon...

... Struggle to understand the logic in that, but hey-ho...

Next time...

Im good to go, about to give the car a wash off. I am bringing my boy as a midnight surprise, he is off to bed in a bit and we are going to wake him as a surprise. He is a car mad 7 year old. He can lie in tommoroow.
