Just got in, a cracking night! Thanks to James (highflier) for organising, and also to Simon and Russ for making the Gorge and the drive home extremely interesting. Cheers lads!

No probs pal. The drive back was probably the best bit - the traction from the TTrs and R32 is really quite impressive.

Again cheers to James for sorting it out!

Well I finally got back to Witney at 3am! It was good to have a quick chat to most people and, as it was my first time around the Gorge I was more than happy to stick to the back of the convoy as some of those bends would cause you a serious amount of heartache if you didn't know the road well. It's definitely something I want to try again in the daylight though biggrin

His name is Rich ( he's on here as Mobi).

Was good to see you again too, missed all the pops and bangs of the Cerb, but understandable. smile

Thanks all, nice to get out for a little drive.

lost most of the convoy as soon as we came out of tesco carpark though, stupid traffic lights.
perhaps the route should have been posted... wink

Great to meet a few more local(ish) faces smile Shame I couldn't hang around once we got to Weston, my GF had locked herself out of our flat so I had to leg it back to Bristol (quite a fun drive 1am driving)

Thanks for organising the drive James, top man cool

Thanks all, and thanks for coming along smile. I'll definitely organise a midnight run again. And, work permitting a few more drives. I was thinking of heading off to Wales for a day, or maybe even a weekend at some point. I'll have a look at when I'm not working, and post something up.

Give me a shout if you want a hand organising a Welsh run James - dependent on distance requirements, I know of some very nice routes. Best would be about a 200 mile round route from Bristol though!

It was a great drive, and indeed highlights for me were pootling up the gorge and also tootling up the dual carriageway on the way home wink

We must organise more runs out, especially as a few of us are pretty close. I wouldn't mind a ride in the S2000 either, I've always had a soft spot for those, but unfortunately never been in one!
