I would guess the pub is more hospitable than the Griffin at Bridgeyate, but still, what are issues there Ted?

Thanks again for the input gents.

Quite small bars ,and if the meeting room is required its through the dining area at the back, and is quite small with only a long table. IF its a fine night the place would be fine.

Ok,that doesn't sound too bad as most of the evenings are spent out side the venue any way.

Will the meets continue at the Griff until a new venue is found?

What about the Plough in Pilning loads of room, great friendly pub, not only that its out of the way so shouldn`t bother anyone i.e. neighbours with noise.

Not too likely about the Griffin.
Unfortunately the land lady devices it was a good idea to charge car owners £3 entry on a Tuesday eve.
Seemed a little short sighted considering the amount of business the evening generated for them, but hey ho,their loss is another pubs gain!

A few of us took a ride up to the Cross Hands at Old Sodbury.
Great venue and the roads around there are great as a bonus.
Provided the weather is dry,we are going to head up there tomorrow night.
It's an informal meet and anyone is welcome, would be good to have a little support for the new venue as well.

I popped up. Three rods in carpark but bar was busy and 'foody'. Didn't recognise anyone so didn't bother staying.
Next time. thumbup
