June 8th A BBC Radio Devon car show in aid of Children in Need.

Are you planning on going to the charity event on the Hoe? Anyone else, being that it's very local and supporting a good cause?

This Saturday 7th, our village is holding their summer fete which incorporates a car pageant , the organisers are keen to build this up, with any vehicle of interest, so if you fancy showing yours off, it's in Milborne Port, 3 miles east of Sherborne Dorset, it would be great to see some P/H ers there, as we have some lovely cars in this area .

Whilst I'd love to go, I think I'll be trapped this weekend as we're due to complete on a house sale next week (assuming the bl00dy solicitors sort out the paperwork) and so I really need to be there to finish emptying it and cleaning through.

It is empty , nearly, but we've been saying that for 2 months and still manage to fill a car or 2 every weekend!

Details:
Lupin Farm Classic Vehicle gathering - cars, bikes, commercial, agricultural and steam. Last year it filled two fields. Entry by donation to charity, The Staffordshire Air Ambulance and St. Giles Hospice, Whittington. Lots going on. The Trust runs a bric-a-brac stall.

Don't know of anything this weekend, hopefully I'll get the new sound insulation in the car and the carpets and seats refitted after the water ingress the other week.

I gather that on Sun 31st Aug there's a Route 38 Car club show on The Hoe, but it doesn't seem to be confirmed on any of the Official Plymouth websites.
