Does any one no what is happening wrt this Even and Piston Heads, this year. Is there a list of PH cars taking part. I was hoping to join the convoy.

Yep Graham is/was organising a PH area but rather worrying that he's gone very quiet on it so perhaps it's not now happening. He mailed me around March about it IIRC. Was planning on going in the Lambo and also a mate was going to take either his e-type or a V8 MG, plus another chappy from this way in his boxster.
I'll email him once more also and see what's happening and if it is indeed something he's organising this year. I can imagine he has enough on his plate from CWC.

I planned a tour/route that took us all over the place on the way up, great roads, so I didnt really pay much attention to where we were....... it all went past in a blurr, as usual

You should try just bimbling along in 6th at the back Giles. You get to remember the route and better MPG. (Boring after a bit though)

The Arrival of the Pistonheads Sports and Super Car Tour at 1:30 is heavily advertised for this years Classics at the Castle yet this is the only thread I can find and there does not seem to be a register. closing date for static entries is 1 July and one way or another I intend to be there -

we are waiting for Graham V8S to advise whats going on.
Its usually a selected group as the cars need to be a bit special for the show. My EVO8 only just made it in last time as it wasnt noisy !! wait n see what Graham suggests this time round

ok managed to speak with Graham....
He'll be in contact soon with people he's already been in touch with.
Seem's he has been given somewhat more restrictive invites so everyone might not get an invite onto the PH stand.
I think hos hands are somewhat tied by the organisers....
